ABSTRACT
The study is made up of the evaluation of petrophysical properties from well logs. It characterizes the reservoir across the field with respect to their reservoir properties. It gives an idea of the hydrocarbon bearing reservoirs within the well that is being studied. Ultimately, this study will help to perform an accurate reservoir evaluation.
The absence of some very vital and important data such as seismic data, bio-facies information, core data and mud log data make it impossible to buttress some true qualities of the reservoir rocks. Core samples or cuttings are important to create bio-facies information which tells us the age, sequence stratigraphy and proper environment of deposition. PVT (pressure volume temperature) data is needed in the determination of the fluid content of the reservoir.
