ABSTRACT

Nutrients are required for growth and development of human and animal tissues. Food nutrients include carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins and minerals. The dude proximate analysis on Plantain flour shows contents of crude fibre and crude protein which indicates rich nutrient life of cooked plantain. Presence of essential nutrients and minerals in cooked plantain points out more reason why it should be consumed regularly.
