SUMMARY
Several studies have explored and suggested how to improve electricity supply such that it could meet the public demand, but few studies have studied the problem majorly face with the supply of electricity. In view of the above point, this study revealed a critical reason why manufacturing companies are migrating to Ghana and South Africa, the result obtained showed that Nigeria electricity consumption is low compare to Ghana and South Africa, this means the supply of electricity is not enough to be consumed by the ever increasing population that has been high and will continue with such trend provided there is no government intervention to control the population in order to mitigate the danger the society will be face with over population, whereas Ghana and South Africa supply more electricity but have almost half of Nigeria population combined.
