ABSTRACT

This study explores entrepreneurship skill acquisition and product innovation in Nigeria. Data were gathered through the distribution of two-hundred and ten (210) questionnaires, all of which were used for the empirical analysis. Descriptive statistics and frequency, mean and percentage and regression analysis were employed for the study’s analysis. The result from analysis aim to unveil the connection between acquiring entrepreneurial skills and the ability to innovate in product development by exploring the challenges, opportunities and patterns in this relationship. The research encourages to provide valuable insights for individuals, business seeking to enhance entrepreneurial endeavours and foster a culture of innovation in Nigeria. The study recommends that individual and intending entrepreneurs should make every efforts to obtain the necessarily entrepreneurial skills through training, mentorship, formal education, because doing so, gives them a broader perspective of knowledge for product innovation.
