ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Entrepreneurship Education and Entrepreneurial Intentions among undergraduates in the University of Benin. The study covered a sample size of 120 students in the University. Questionnaire was shared to the 120 students which was used for data analysis. The findings of the study were as follows; there is no significant relationship between personal attitude and entrepreneurial intentions, there is a significant relationship between subjective norms and entrepreneurial intentions, there is a significant relationship between perceived behavioral control and entrepreneurial intentions, there is a significant relationship between perceived variability and entrepreneurial intentions in the University of Benin. It was therefore recommended that awareness should be created to the general public by the government and tertiary institutions on the importance of Entrepreneurship Education and to aspiring students of universities of the study course Entrepreneurship in tertiary institutions. Provision of knowledge and adequate resources by the tertiary institution. Introduction of incubator programs by higher institutions. Establish field travels to innovative hubs.
