ABSTRACT
This study investigates the role of wireless internet networks in influencing economic growth in Nigeria. It examines the current state of wireless infrastructure, the impact of wireless connectivity on key economic sectors, and the challenges and opportunities associated with adoption. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research synergizes a review of literature with firsthand data gained through surveys. The findings unveil the significant positive impact of wireless internet networks on various sectors of the economy, fostering increased productivity, facilitating e-commerce, and improving access to essential services. Nonetheless, challenges like inadequate infrastructure, affordability and digital literacy must be confronted to fully exploit the potential of wireless internet for the economic growth in Nigeria. This research culminates in recommendations for policymakers and stakeholders to harness wireless technology for sustainable economic development.
