ABSTRACT

This study examined the relationship between employee attitude on organizational productivity in private sector. The objectives was to find the rate at which employee attitude in private sector affect organization productivity; examine the effect of employee supervision on organization productivity; determine if employee recognition affect organization productivity , and ascertain the extent to which employee decision making influence organization productivity. This study has a total population of 200 being the total staff strength of Coca cola plc Benin city, Edo state and a sample size of 130 was selected. Based on the hypotheses, multiple regression technique was used to estimate the effect of employees attitude on organization productivity in Nigeria. The research questions raised for the study was answered using descriptive statistics of frequency counts and mean scores. The statistical packages for social sciences (SPSS) 22.0 was used to analyze the data. The findings from the study was that there is a significant relationship between employees attitude and organization productivity in the Nigerian private sector; there is a significant relationship between employee supervision and organization productivity in the private sector; there is a significant relationship between employee recognition and organization productivity in the private sector, and there is a significant relationship between employee decision making and orgainzation productivity in the Nigerian private sector.
