ABSTRACT
This study examines the relationship between employee training and development on organisational performance. The population of the study comprises of 200 employees of Seven-up Bottling company Ltd and the study sample was 133.The hypothesis result showed that the independent variable (Employee training and development) have a significant relationship with the dependent variable (Organisational performance). the study at Seven-up Bottling Company Ltd has illuminated the intricate relationships between employee training and development on organizational performance. The findings consistently show that management of labor turnover, absenteeism, wastage, and career development initiatives played significant roles in influencing and improving Seven-up Bottling company Ltd performance.
The study recommends organizations should prioritize effective management of labor turnover, absenteeism, and wastage while investing in career development initiatives to harness their full potential in driving improved performance. These insights provide valuable guidance for human resource management practices and underscore the importance of aligning employee development strategies with organizational goals.
