ABSTRACT
Efficient resource management is vital for the success of theatre productions, particularly in navigating budgeting and cost control challenges. This study presents findings from a mixed-methods approach employed to analyze resource management during the production of "Operation Squander" by DR BARDI Theatre. The methodology involved gathering qualitative and quantitative data through interviews, financial records, and audience feedback. Observations revealed the duality of artistic success and financial challenges faced, necessitating budget adjustments and resourceful funding strategies. Challenges such as high welfare costs and student apathy underscored the multifaceted nature of theatre production management. Meticulous budgetary decisions and preservation of artistic integrity were crucial aspects highlighted. Recommendations include prioritizing thorough financial planning, exploring diverse funding channels, implementing rigorous cost control measures, and fostering a collaborative culture. The study emphasizes the importance of effective resource management in achieving successful theatre productions, ensuring financial stability, and maintaining artistic excellence. Through adopting these recommendations, theatre productions can enhance resource management practices and contribute to the vibrancy and growth of the industry.
