ABSTRACT
This study aims to investigate the utilization of audio-visual materials in teaching the English Language in Senior Secondary Schools in Oredo Local Government Area, Edo State. Four research questions will guide the study. This research will adopt a survey design. A portion of the entire population will serve as the sample size. The study will adopt the instrument to determine the sample size. The instrument of the study will be questionnaires. As part of the reliability exercise, ten teachers would be given the questionnaire from another local government area for the first time. Using the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient, we will analyze their responses in the first and second times. If the result is 0.50 or higher, it demonstrates that the instrument is reliable. Mean scores will help us answer the research questions. After each table, the researcher will present the analysis and provide statements of interpretation. There would be recommendations and implications for the study. Finally, suggestions for further studies will be equally made.
