This study investigates the effect of polyherbal formulation on haematological parameters of fifteen (15) male albino rats. Herbs have been used for generations by people to cure illness and are generally regarded as safe because of the low side effect that comes with it. The male albino rats were randomly assigned to five groups (n =3). Group 1 was the positive control and was given 2ml of water. Group 2 was the negative control and administered 100 mg/kg of sildenafil citrate; group 3 animals were given 50 mg/kg of the polyherbal extract; group 4, 100 mg/kg of the polyherbal extract, and group 5 orally administered 200 mg/kg of the polyherbal extract. Following a three-day oral administration of the extract and controls to the animals using an orogastric tube, they were sacrificed, after which blood was collected. The blood was analysed by exploring haematological parameters, including white blood cell (WBC) and red blood cell (RBC) counts and their differentials, haemoglobin (Hb) concentration, and platelet counts. Immunological data via assessing the blood for CD4 and CD8 counts following standard procedure were done, and the organ and body weights of the rats were measured. White blood cells and their differentials, red blood cells and their components, including platelet and other factors, all had significant increases across the groups compared to the control. No significant increase in the rats' body weight index, organ weight, CD4 and CD8 counts was recorded. The effect of the polyherbal formulation is not detrimental to the rats within the graded doses
