SUMMARY

Several studies have proven that PoC can reduce SB, these results are similar to the result of this study which looked at how point-of-choice prompts affected the sedentary behaviour of administrative staff employed by the University of Benin. Generally, PoC + education helped to decrease the sedentary behaviour of office-based workers. There was no significant difference in the sedentary variable outcomes except for sitting events greater than 30 minutes. However, there was an obvious increase noticed in the PoC group compared to the education-only group although minimal. The results prove that point-of-choice prompts can actually lessen an office worker's tendency to become sedentary.
