SUMMARY
In line with the findings from this study, it can therefore be concluded that monosodium glutamate when consumed in high concentration by pregnant mothers, can cause damages to the liver of the fetus in rats. It is therefore recommended that consumption of Monosodium glutamate and product made from it should therefore be highly regulated by pregnant mothers.
