ABSTRACT

This research investigates the effects of electronic facilities in the teaching and learning of technical education students in the University of Benin. The population of the study comprised of 42 final year technical education students in the University of Benin, Five (5) research questions were raised to guide the study and one hypothesis was formulated for this study and tested at 0.05 level of significant. A descriptive research design was adopted for this study. A well-structured question was the instrument used to elicit information for this study and the data collected was analyzed using mean, standard deviation and t-test. The findings of the study shows that students perceived that electronic facilities significantly affects student’s academic performance to a high extent and that electronic facilities make them creative and useful. Based on the findings, it was recommended that educational institutions such as school, should provide proper electronic facilities for supporting students to achieve their goals in learning process.
