SUMMARY
The result of this study showed that prolonged administration of Phyllantus amarus can significantly affect the blood serum calcium levels by causing a significant decrease. Hence, despite other positive health effect of this plant, it is recommended that caution should be advocated in the intake of this plant product and further studies should be carried out to examine or backup these findings.
