ABSTRACT
The results obtained from this study shows that oxidative stress induced by DMH exhibited detrimental effects on the experimental animals by causing hepatocellular and hepatic injury as well as in-balances in enzyme distributions while anti-cancer agent 5’fluorouracil at doses once a week displayed remarkable hepatoprotective potential underlining its ability to prevent and reverse the injuries associated with the adverse effect of DMH.
