ABSTRACT
Communication has been described as an intervening variable that helps other variables in an organization fit together. People in an organization exist via effective communication as this human capital needs coherent, succinct, and accurate information for greater implementation and improved business commercial success. Communication needs to be effective and efficient for better, smooth functioning and increased performance of an organization. The basis of this research study was to investigate “Effective Communication As A Tactic For Boosting Organizational Performance” using Time Ceramics Nigeria Limited as a case study. In determining a solution to the research problem, three hypotheses were formulated, and data was likewise obtained from a sample of eighty-four workers by using a self-administered questionnaire. The data gathered through the questionnaire was quite revealing. It exposed that, in the organization, management often overloads employees with too much information and employees often select from the information shared and ignore the rest. It likewise revealed that communication is affected by the kind of organizational environment and poor communication affects organizational productivity and performance. A few of the recommendations were that, for the management and staff to be conscious of the importance of effective communication, they should be sent on training in the area of communication. The relationship between management and staff should be enhanced without interfering with the authority relationship. The volume of organizational performance will then witness an increase.
