ABSTRACT
The study was conducted to investigate the effect of methanol extract of Annona muricata on blood level electrolytes of potassium bromate induced Wister rats. A total of sixty rats divided into six groups were used for this study. The result obtained showed that the administration of potassium bromate resulted in significant increases in chloride and potassium levels and significantly decreased sodium and carbon dioxide levels. It does not appear that the extract had any significant effects in addressing the potassium bromate – induced changes in rats.
