ABSTRACT
This study examined the effect of drug abuse among youths in Oredo local government area of Edo state. The study has the following objectives: To find out effect of drug abuse on youth. To identify the types of preventive strategies of drug abuse by youth. To find solution to the problem of drug abuses. Sample sizes of 100 respondents were randomly selected from the population. Survey design was adopted. The methods of data collection include the questionnaire and in depth interview. Findings and recommendation were made and conclusion drawn.
