ABSTRACT
Educational data mining is the application of data mining techniques to the field of education, with the goal of improving teaching and learning outcomes. It involves the collection and analysis of data from various sources, such as student performance records, online learning platforms, and classroom observations, to identify patterns and trends that can inform educational practices and policies.
One use of educational data mining is in the development of predictive models to forecast student performance, analyze historical data on student performance, it may be possible to develop models that can accurately predict future performance based on various factors. These models can be used to identify students who may be at risk of falling behind and intervene with targeted support to help them succeed.
Overall, educational data mining has the potential to transform the way we think about education and learning, by providing insights into what works and what doesn't and helping to identify strategies for improvement. So, the main objective of this project is to apply data mining techniques to improve teaching and learning outcomes in education after performing academic predictions on Student Performance.
