ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to access the economics of catfish fingerlings production in Edo south Local Government Area, Edo State, Nigeria. This is with the view of analyzing the factors that influence the efficiency of catfish fingerlings production and profitability of catfish production. A three stage sampling procedure was adopted to select 50 respondents for the study. Data were collected using structured questionnaire. Data collected were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics such as Cobb-Douglas stochastic production frontier function.
