ABSTRACT
The real estate industry continually evolves with advancements in technology, and the adoption of Business Intelligence Systems (BIS) has emerged as a pivotal transformation in property investment decision-making. This thesis investigates the multifaceted landscape of BIS adoption in Benin City. The aim of this study is to examine the level of awareness, preparedness among property managers, and the driving factors behind adoption of BIS. Through meticulous research and analysis, this study aims to offer insights into the factors propelling the adoption of BIS and reveal the nuanced interplay of awareness, preparedness, and adoption in the property investment sector. For its theoretical framework, the study adopted the questionnaire survey research method to gather the data used for the study. The research underscores the multifaceted nature of BIS adoption drivers and sheds light on the levels of awareness, preparedness, and adoption within the property investment sector. Property investment managers, shaped by their unique preferences, organizational cultures, and operational contexts, do not uniformly prioritize these factors. This research contributes to the understanding of BIS adoption dynamics and emphasizes the need for flexible and customized strategies to optimize BIS adoption in property investment decision-making. This research offers strategic insights for property managers, educators, and organizations seeking to navigate the complexities of the real estate industry in Benin City. It aims to pave the way for informed and technology-enhanced property investment decisions, ultimately enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of property investment practices.
