ABSTRACT

This study investigates the diversity in work place and job performance, five research questions and purpose of the study were raised to examine impact of diverse workforce on organizational performance, examine the impact of workforce diversity on employees performance, evaluate the effect of inequality on employee performance, determine the effect of inequality on organizational performance, examine how organizations manage diverse workforce. Relevant Literature from different author were reviewed and the study evaluates that the sample required for the study would- be based on the population of the study to be the Lecturers, Heads and Assistant Heads of Departments in Faculty of Management Sciences, the sample size is set at. 100. The instrument was validated by the research supervisor. The findings of the study shows that there is no significant relationship between diverse workforce and impact organizations performance, as most Reponses were alike, between Equality and effect on employees’ performance lastly, between Workforce diversity and impact employees ’ performance. The study recommends that Work is advocated by organizations’ for a better outcome on tasks and for delivering ' of goods and services. The researchers suggest that diversity in workplace should not come into organizational goals and objectives and that Employee and their coworkers that come from different background and bring unique perception and experiences during team work. Though, every diver’s culture has its own strengths and weaknesses that are derived from the culture, when each worker’s unique trait is managed efficiently, in an organization. It can leverage the strength and complement its weaknesses to highly impact the workforce.
