ABSTRACT
The discrete Burr XII distribution is a statistical distribution used to analyze data with discrete values. It provides researchers with a valuable tool for making informed decisions based on complex datasets. This distribution model is commonly used in various fields such as economics, finance, and engineering to study and understand the underlying patterns and trends in the data.
The survival function and the hazard function of the burr xii distribution was used to analyze a data set obtained the Covid -19 data set that was collected from the National Center for Disease (NCDC) at http://covid19.nedc.gov.ng/.
From the analysis carried out we observed that as the values of x increases, the survival and hazard function decreases.
