ABSTRACT
In the dynamic realm of education, the imperative for research and knowledge dissemination cannot be overstated. Conventional methods of archiving research, whether in print or confined to localized digital systems, pose constraints in terms of accessibility, visibility, and collaborative potential. Recognizing these limitations, this research embarks on the endeavor to conceive and actualize a comprehensive digital research repository. This repository seeks not only to streamline the storage and retrieval of research endeavors but also introduces an innovative incentive structure, designed to invigorate active engagement from both faculty and students. The genesis of this project stems from a personal journey marked by a crucial realization. When the time came to choose a project topic, there was a lack of reference points and a dearth of established formats for undertaking such a task. This moment of uncertainty served as a catalyst for the ambition to construct a research repository tailored to the needs of the institution, a digital haven where students and faculty alike can seamlessly access a wealth of research works. The repository, underpinned by a gamification engine, offers a multifaceted approach to incentive mechanisms. It amalgamates gamified rewards and monetary incentives to recognize and reward contributions from both seasoned academics and budding scholars. This dual approach aims to foster a culture of research and collaboration while providing tangible recognition for scholarly endeavors. By fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, revenue generation, and student engagement, this research aspires to address existing gaps in research repository systems. It stands as a practical resource for those who may find themselves in a similar quest for knowledge and direction. Through this endeavor, the aim is to pave a smoother path for future scholars, ensuring they have the necessary tools and guidance to embark on their academic journeys with confidence and purpose.
