ABSTRACT
E-voting has attracted a lot of interest to streamline and modernize the political process. To increase the security, transparency, and dependability of electronic voting platforms, this project analyzes the integration of blockchain technology into voting systems. A feasible answer to the long-standing issues of voter authentication, ballot integrity, and result verification in the context of electronic elections is blockchain, which is renowned for its immutable and decentralized nature. This study examines the fundamental concepts behind blockchain technology as well as its possible application in electronic voting, considering the advantages as well as the disadvantages. The project also looks at actual set up and case studies of blockchain-based electronic voting systems, providing insights into their viability and effects on the election process. The results of this study add to the continuing discussion about the use of blockchain in electronic voting and offer useful direction for those making decisions, election officials, and technologists looking to develop safe and transparent electronic voting solutions.
