ABSTRACT
The lightweight and optimized structure gradually attracts the attention of the manufacturing industry due to its many advantages. These applications are of great importance to the automotive, construction and other related industries that require innovative high-performance engines and components. To achieve this, aluminum alloys are often used, which are suitable for the production of lightweight parts due to a number of desirable properties. However, these materials are difficult to obtain, and even when available, the high cost of the alloying elements makes it difficult to purchase them at an affordable price. The purpose of this study is to develop periwinkle shell composite materials in an aluminum matrix. Its aim is to develop the necessary technical equipment to improve the manufacturing sector by promoting local content at the local level, thereby contributing to meeting technical, skills and materials in the manufacturing sector. Materials used in this study include aluminum and periwinkle shells.
