ABSTRACT
Recruitment is important for organizations since it performs the essential function of drawing an important resource into the organization. This project has a strategic aim as it focuses on developing a web-based Recruitment Management System that would help human resource personnels in a company’s organization to recruit people with the right competence and skills (abilities) which are suitable to affect company performance positively. In a bid to create a more efficient system, object-oriented methodology (OOM) was used to develop this system. It consists of four phases namely; system analysis, system design, object design, and implementation. In the first phase, the problems associated with recruitment management were analyzed, possible solutions to the problems, stating requirements, and specifications to the solution. The second phase involves the use of diagrams to represent how web-based recruitment can be achieved. Diagrams like context level and level 0 diagrams of the proposed system. In the third phase, the Jobseeker, and the Employer were put into classes, with attributes and the operation they perform. The last phase was the implementation phase where classes and objects were put into coding using PHP, HTML, and CSS and the expected result of this study accomplishes a refined model for e-recruitment through an improved user flow and experience for both the Job seeker and Employer which subsequently leads to a faster procedural recruitment process.
