ABSTRACT

       This research project is titled “Developing Resilience against Covid-19 on Classroom Management in Secondary schools in Egor local government area of Edo state. The major aim of this study is to develop resilience against the COVID-19 pandemic among secondary schools in Egor local government area of Edo State.

     The review of related literature was done to provide a good basis for the conclusion of this work. Similarly, the descriptive survey research design was employed and to ensure the attainment of the general aim. Five (5) research questions were raised and the questionnaire which was tested and validated as the instrument for data collection. The data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed using mean score analysis.

     From the findings of this study, it was revealed that the students have a good knowledge about the Covid-19. This study also revealed that when students stay connected with their school mates online, it helps to maintain strong and positive relationships which helps to build their resilience.

This study points out the importance of developing resilience against COVID-19 as it affects everything from our mental and financial health to our relationships to our ability to handle trauma and loss.
