SUMMARY
The d-dimer is a tool to monitor the tendency of a person to develop a thrombus and possibly an embolus. In Subjects diagnosed with Hypertensive nephropathy, the tendency for embolisation will be high, so a comparison was done between blood concentration of d-dimer in subjects with hypertensive nephropathy and subjects without hypertensive nephropathy. There was no significant difference between their d -dimer levels, so hypertensive nephropathy does not really affect the concentration of d-dimer. However, more findings can be made.
