ABSTRACT
This project “Destitution in Nigeria ” highlights the effect of lack of education in Nigeria . The researcher hopes to inform the world on the importance of education as it has become severely underrated . In order to carry out the objective of this project , the following steps were adopted in the execution of the project : ● Step 1: Stretching of the canvas on a chassis ● Step 2: Painting ground preparation-sizing and priming ● Step 3: Making the composition sketch ● Step 4: Painting ● Step 5: Finishing The researcher displayed the use of colors to depict the mood of the project by painting in monochrome . A critique was carried out to appraise the project and the holdings revealed that Oil paints, unlike acrylic paints, retain their original mixture when placed on the canvas to dry . Oil paints also dry fast after a layer had been previously applied on the canvas.
