ABSTRACT
The process of learning is significantly enhanced in a conducive setting, especially when fostering creativity and critical thinking. A studio, as a dedicated workspace for artists, is essential for nurturing creativity. However, the graphic design studios within the Graphic Section of the Department of Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Benin are currently limited in workstation capacity, which hinders accommodating more students.
To address this challenge, the graduating students of the 2019/2020 cohort have undertaken the initiative to design additional workstations to expand and enhance the studio environment. By increasing the workstation space, the goal is to inspire and support creativity among both current and future graphic design students within the Department.
