ABSTRACT
The designing of workstation spaces in the educational settings significantly impacts the learning experience and outcomes of students, particularly in disciplines like graphic design that require creativity and collaboration. The 300 and 400 level graphic studio of the Department of Fine and Applied Art, University of Benin lacks enough workstation space to accommodate all students, hence students who wishes to major in graphic design are being forced to study what they do not wish for which is unfair. For thus reason the outgoing 400level graduating students are seeking the possibility of designing additional workstations enough to accommodate all students who wish to major in graphic design. This project aims to create a workspace that fosters creativity, collaboration and productivity among students, taking into consideration ergonomic principles, technology and aesthetic appeal.
