ABSTRACT
Traditional crime reporting methods, such as in-person complaints and phone calls, are slow, stressful, and often discourage victims from reporting. These methods are time-consuming, prone to errors, and lack anonymity, making people afraid to come forward. This project introduces a crime reporting web application for the University of Benin to make reporting crimes easier, faster, and safer. The platform provides a secure and anonymous way for students and staff to report crimes, while security personnel can manage reports efficiently and respond in real-time.
