ABSTRACT
The design of an online exam attendance management system is presented in this study for the University of Benin's (UNIBEN) Computer Science department. The system's goal is to make tracking student attendance during exams easier while also giving professors and students a userfriendly interface and seamless experience. Accessibility, effectiveness, and data accuracy are given top priority in the system's design to improve the entire exam administration procedure. The user interface of the online exam attendance management system is aesthetically pleasing and meticulously designed to promote simplicity of use for all stakeholders. Administrators and lecturers can organize exam sessions, track student attendance, and look at reports using a simple interface. In-depth data validation techniques are also included in the system to reduce errors and guarantee correct attendance records. The Computer Science department at UNIBEN can get over the difficulties of manually tracking exam attendance by deploying this online exam attendance management system. By automating attendance procedures, the system encourages efficiency and transparency while allowing lecturers to save significant time and resources. This system's effective adoption will support the department's dedication to top-notch academic administration and student support.
