ABSTRACT
The internet serves as a vital repository of information and a key communication medium, with email being especially significant in professional settings. However, visually impaired and illiterate individuals often encounter substantial barriers in accessing internet services due to their reliance on visual interfaces. Existing solutions, such as screen readers, do not fully address these challenges, necessitating a more effective approach. This project introduces a voice-based email system designed to empower visually impaired users by facilitating the use of email through voice commands and simple mouse clicks, eliminating the need for keyboard navigation. The system employs interactive voice response (IVR) technology to guide users through operations via audible prompts, ensuring ease of use. By providing an accessible and intuitive interface, this system aims to enhance digital inclusivity, allowing visually impaired individuals to independently manage email communications. The development and deployment of this system could significantly improve the quality of life for millions of visually impaired people worldwide, promoting their autonomy and integration into the digital world.
