Abstract
Lecture Reminder is a tool that enables students and professors to stay informed about the dates and venues of their upcoming lectures. It has become crucial to use Lecture Reminder for effective time management, as it is often advised to rely on a system rather than memory to stay organized. The rationale behind the proposed system's implementation is that academic staff and lecturers frequently forget scheduled appointments, which prevents them from teaching or lecturing on the scheduled date. Additionally, some students miss lecture classes because the scheduled venue and time are incorrect or are changed on short notice. The study's goal is to create and put into place a lecture reminder system that will alert both the lecturer and the students to the upcoming lecture date. The following specific objectives were outlined in order to achieve this goal: implement a system that will enable early notification or a reminder of the scheduled lecture date; design a system that will be adaptable enough to function as a reminder for the course lecturer to reschedule an impromptu lecture, informing students of the new location and time of lecture; and construct a system that will make it simpler for staff and lecturers to verify the scheduled date and venue of their lectures. The user can benefit from a multitude of capabilities offered by the Lecture Reminder System. Calendar system is the first that is easily explained. The calendar will serve as a point of reference for the days and dates that users designate. The calendar for the current month, as well as the months prior and following, can be viewed by the user. Additionally, the system will assist in organizing the lecture in accordance with their priority order.
