ABSTRACT
The inception of the drug inventory management system project arose from a recognized need to rectify the inherent limitations associated with traditional, paper-centric methodologies employed in the monitoring and control of pharmaceutical stock levels. These limitations encompassed a range of concerns, including but not limited to the prevalence of human error, the potential for security vulnerabilities, an overdependence on manual intervention, and the protracted nature of the processes involved. In response to these challenges, a comprehensive software solution was meticulously crafted, leveraging a systematic top-down approach. This approach entailed the judicious application of a suite of cutting-edge programming languages and technologies, namely JavaScript, CSS, HTML, PHP with the Laravel framework, and a robust MySQL database infrastructure, all harmoniously combined to give rise to a robust and efficient system for managing drug inventory. The test run of the project received high praise by the users for its effectiveness, efficiency, and user-friendly interface, revolutionizing drug inventory management.
