DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF INCOME AND EXPENDITURE MATRIX EVALUATION SYSTEM FOR SMALLAND MEDIUM SCALE ENTERPRISE

ABSTRACT

The blueprint of a developed society in terms of all round development is on the steps taken to manage the functionality of Small and Medium Scale Enterprise. No viable society ignore the role of SMSEs and all aspects of system function must be adequately address to bring about lasting development. Based on the foregoing, this project work looked at the income and expenditure of SMSE as well as its impact in modern society. Ensuring the income evaluation against the expenditure will go a long way to mitigate the setback that have weaponised the industry for a very long time and bring back income on investment. This work adapted a structural function income model by infusing the integrated function of the expenditure and matrix evaluation. The adapted model is a serial income model that capture every income received within a specific period. Income and Expenditure Matrix Evaluation System is an automated system designed to mitigate the cumbersomeness associated with daily account of income and expenses made by Small and Medium Scale Enterprise. The study utilized several tools to make the design work. The Income and Expenditure Matrix Evaluation System is an inherent system with functionality to compare what was received against what was spend within a given period. HTM, JavaScript, and other web application tolls like PHP, CSS etc. were used to develop the application using the Von Neumann Linear Algorithm.
