ABSTRACT
The current voting process in most universities is characterized with so many challenges resulting to malpractices and dissatisfactions among both the electorates and candidates. Few works have been conducted in the past to curb these challenges with little successes made especially with issue of verification of the participants. This project propose a voter verification system implementation using a One-Time-Password (OTP) to help reduce malpractices during voting. The system is an online-based using MYSQL and PHP web services as implementation tools. The project shows an improvement from the existing works and prospect for future study.
