ABSTRACT
Online discussion forums as an important opportunity for knowledge exchange as well as a teaching method to provide learners with learning opportunities that do not necessarily have temporal and geographic barriers. It is online discussion forum, where topics to be discussed will be in categories like programming, Networking, General Knowledge, Java, English, Mathematics etc. Each type of questions will be under particular forum. Registered users will be allowed to view latest discussion and can also comment on viewed discussion. In this PHP based online discussion forum, there will be two types of users who will interact in this system and control the various activities. These two users will be: admin and the users. Users will be responsible to post topics to be discussed in particular forum, get the responses from the forum and make comment to existing while admin will keep track on various activity of user. Among these, there are other features, like displaying the posts based on various parameters like recent posts, displaying posts. The presentation used the following tools to implement: PHP, MySql, JavaScript and CSS.In this PHP online discussion forum based, user can manage their personal accounts.
