ABSTRACT

Time management plays a pivotal role in organizational success, ensuring productivity, accountability, and efficient task execution. This project focuses on the design and implementation of a time monitoring system tailored for internal organizational use. The proposed system is a web-based platform equipped with advanced features such as CRUD operations for employee management, task monitoring with facial recognition, and a countdown timer for task duration. The system periodically captures users' facial data through device cameras to validate active engagement, ensuring that only productive hours are accounted for. The study examines existing time management systems and highlights challenges such as privacy concerns, technological limitations, and inefficiencies in task validation. By integrating camera-based monitoring and task-specific features, the proposed solution addresses these issues, providing a reliable, real-time tracking system. The platform also enforces strict measures, such as flagging tasks when users switch tabs, ensuring accountability and preventing distractions. Key findings from the study of related works reveal that while many systems enhance productivity, they often face challenges in scalability, privacy compliance, and hardware dependency. This project bridges these gaps by offering an innovative approach that balances technological advancement with ethical considerations. The resulting system not only enhances employee accountability and organizational efficiency but also sets a standard for ethical and secure monitoring practices. This research contributes to the growing field of time management systems and demonstrates the practical application of CRUD operations, camera-based monitoring, and real-time validation in improving workplace productivity.
