ABSTRACT

This project focuses on the development of a Student Lecture Attendance System aimed at enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of tracking student attendance in academic settings. The system leverages Face Detection technology, allowing students to mark their attendance by scanning a their face at the beginning of each lecture. The solution is designed to streamline the attendance process, reduce manual errors, and improve the management of attendance data for both students and teachers. The system comprises a user-friendly interface for students to check their attendance status and a teacher dashboard for real-time monitoring and reporting. By automating attendance recording, the system seeks to minimize administrative workload, promote punctuality, and ensure accurate records. The development of this system involves the use of modern web technologies and database management systems to create a seamless experience for all users. Ultimately, this project aims to provide an innovative solution to attendance management in educational institutions.
