ABSTRACT

Inverters play a crucial role in the implementation of this project, as they are typically used in both domestic and industrial settings as backup power sources in case of power outages from the utility grid. However, a limitation of traditional inverters is that they can run out of power quickly when used with heavy appliances. This project addresses this issue by IV incorporating solar energy as a power source. The inverter system includes a 12V battery and uses driver circuitry and a heavy load transformer to produce up to 230V AC. The battery is charged from two sources: solar power and mains power. When solar power is available, the system switches to using it as the primary power source, and when it is not, the load is connected to the mains power supply. Additionally, the solar power source also charges the battery for use as a backup. This allows the inverter to last longer and provides uninterrupted power to the user.
