DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A REMOTE STAFF MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

ABSTRACT

Remote Staff Management System involves employees spending working hours far from their colleagues and/or managers and relying on one electronically mediated communication (e.g., emails and videoconferencing) to interact with them (Tommasina et al. 2022). Every company practicing the remote work method experience one major problem which employee turnover (Xiang et al, 2019). Employee turnover is “the movement of people into and out of employment within an organization” (Xiang et al, 2019). A large number of departures in a relatively concentrated period of time will create difficulties for management. If the pace of recruitment and training cannot be maintained, important positions may remain vacant, resulting in daily work that is not carried out, and a lack of advancement of the company’s development goals and plans (Xiang et al, 2019).
