ABSTRACT
Patient management in healthcare facilities is a complex process that requires efficient coordination and communication among various departments and staff members. Traditional paper-based methods and disparate systems often lead to errors, delays, and inefficiencies, compromising patient care and safety. The proposed patient management system aims to address these challenges by providing a centralized and integrated platform that helps reduce the administrative tasks of healthcare providers so they can prioritize patient care. The PMS offers a centralized platform for managing all patient interactions, streamlining workflows and improving efficiency. From patient registration and appointment scheduling to electronic health record keeping and billing, the PMS provides a user-friendly interface for comprehensive data management. Healthcare professionals can seamlessly access and update patient information in real-time, fostering informed clinical decision-making based on a complete picture of the patient's medical history. Secure communication tools within the system facilitate patient engagement by enabling features such as appointment reminders, prescription refills, and remote consultations. Through extensive research and user-centered design, the PMS was developed using a combination of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies. The implementation of the PMS is expected to benefit healthcare providers by improving operational efficiency, reducing administrative burdens, and enabling data-driven decision-making. Additionally, patients are anticipated to benefit from increased convenience, improved access to care, and enhanced communication with healthcare providers.
