ABSTRACT

In Nigeria, where reliable power supply remains a critical challenge, businesses frequently rely on generators to ensure continuous operations. This project presents the development of a comprehensive generator sizing system, tailored specifically for the Nigerian market, integrating Customer Relationship Management (CRM) principles to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The system aims to accurately determine the power requirements of various businesses by considering industry standards, peak demand, and fluctuating energy needs. The backend of the system is built using PHP, a robust server-side scripting language, while MySQL is employed for efficient and reliable database management. The frontend interface, crafted with native CSS and HTML, ensures a user-friendly and visually appealing experience. This combination not only provides a solid foundation for seamless data processing and storage but also ensures scalability and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of businesses. Additionally, the deployment of the system on Netlify facilitates efficient hosting, continuous integration, and streamlined updates, ensuring that the system remains responsive and up-todate. The integration of CRM principles allows for the customization of generator solutions based on specific customer preferences, thereby enhancing customer engagement and loyalty. Throughout the development process, rigorous testing was conducted to ensure the system's reliability, performance, and security. This involved validating the accuracy of power requirement calculations, ensuring database integrity, and verifying the responsiveness and accessibility of the user interface across various devices. The results demonstrate that the generator sizing system effectively addresses the power needs of Nigerian businesses, providing precise, scalable, and customer-centric solutions. By incorporating advanced data analytics and feedback mechanisms, the system continually evolves to meet the changing demands of the market. This project not only contributes to improving business continuity in Nigeria but also sets a precedent for integrating CRM principles in technical infrastructure solutions, fostering sustainable business growth and customer satisfaction.
