ABSTRACT
This project aims to develop a robust and efficient logistics management system tailored to the Nigerian environment. It begins with a comprehensive analysis of Nigeria's current dispatch and logistics systems, identifying their weaknesses and areas for improvement. The goal is to create a user-friendly, effective web-based application for managing dispatch and logistics. Key features will include real-time tracking of goods, route optimization, and automatic notifications. The development will involve various software components, integrating external APIs, and thorough testing to ensure the system's reliability and performance. During the implementation phase, we'll focus on meeting specific objectives and refining the system to cater to user needs. Following implementation, the project will undergo rigorous performance evaluations, assessing speed, accuracy, and user satisfaction. This will involve testing the system in both simulated and real-life conditions, gathering stakeholder feedback, and analyzing key performance indicators to gauge improvements in logistics operations. Additionally, the project will evaluate the system's impact on overall delivery operations and customer experience in Nigeria. This will be achieved through stakeholder feedback, data analysis on delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction, and identifying areas where the system has made tangible improvements. The project will conclude with a thorough review, including objective appraisals, recommendations for future enhancements, and a discussion of limitations faced during implementation.
