ABSTRACT
A variety of mobile apps are designed to make it easier for users to find their preferred mode of transportation thanks to the popularity of the Android operating system on mobile devices and the use of information technology in public transportation navigation. Although its availability is still restricted to specific towns or areas, the Android-based Google Maps application is currently able to provide information and navigation on city public transportation. Due to its limitations, local developers must develop mobile device navigation applications that provide information and guidance on how to use public transportation in this area. There are numerous applications for chatbots, including customer service, sales, education, and healthcare. However, little research on chatbots has yet been published in the field of public transportation. The goal of this study is to create Esosa, a mobile chatbot that can inform Benin City residents about public transportation routes.
