ABSTRACT
Majority of the rental companies in Nigeria today still use manual information system because their information needs are average and managers of such companies probably enjoy the manual information system because of relatively low transaction activities. with the rise in the level of social activities been experienced, only rental companies with very large information or high capacity of renting service with a rapid rate of renting per item are most likely to survey the pressure and therefore should link information system to business planning. Due to the pressure, there is need to improve the effectiveness of the company through the involvement in the system planning to ensure that a business plan is created in a computerized environment.
